Kelly founded Heart Heroes charity 4 years ago, supporting children and families who are living with heart conditions.
She works tirelessly to provide ever lasting memories for these families and goes above and beyond. Kelly as the CEO does not get paid for this role, and does this voluntarily. Many of times Kelly has had to support bereaved families, after them loosing their little ones so young. Kelly puts her heart and soul into this cause, as there are 13 babies in the UK diagnosed with a heart defect everyday and there isn’t any other support around apart from Heart Heroes who provide inclusive events and support to the whole family through some harrowing times.
Kelly works closely with cardiac nurses and consultants to make sure life is made a little easier for these children and their families, it would be great for her to enjoy a break and totally switch off!
Louis is an Extrodinary young man whos gone above and beyond to raise funds for a local hospital and i think a reward of a break would do him the world of good
Total fighter!! They both deserve a break for themselves
Started covid as a VAT officer then having to work at home while kids where off school so became a teacher as well as a full time worker then moved departments, even when covid or illness was in the household she still worked full hours, while all this was happening she pushed herself for a new apprenticeship. All this = top worker and super mom
My partner works really hard, working for the prison service. But before he joined the prison service he was working 2 different jobs at all different times of the day and night to support our family. He has always put myself and our children first before himself and even his health. This is my why my partner deserves this nomination.
Sorry, its for me. I doubt if I have ci tactics that would bother but I believe I need and deserve a break. I work, as others do lo g shifts scrubbing ambulances sometimes on ha ds and knees to get them clean for use. I love this job, I feel so proud. I had a period of my life that was very low and to be able to get to where I am now I feel I have achieved regardless ..please consider me

When she was born she was always there for me when her dad was at work, looking after me getting things she missed out on a lot of adventures because of that. When her dad died it was in the middle of her A levels but she continued and passed, then she quickly had to learn how to drive and get a job. As I’m not able to drive or work the onus has been put on her young shoulders. She has missed out on adventures due to my disability and she’s only 22.
She’s my rock
There is no-one truly more deserving. Leanne runs a charity called Simple Acts of Kindness based in Wolverhampton working tirelessly to help individuals and families in need, often those referred to her service are in desperate situations and require emergency accommodation and basics such as clothing, household basics and hygiene products. Leanne also works full time and has two young children of her own. She puts everybody else before herself. Last year her older child was diagnosed with diabetes and has struggled to come to terms with the daily realities of such a diagnosis. Leanne has endured a huge amount of stress in her personal life but continues to support others, she is one of life’s rare gems, a truly kind & hardworking individual.
Kerry is my mom, during the pandemic she suffered with breast cancer and overcame this. Along with 5 years previous suffering a severe bleed on her brain. Despite everything she has gone through she has remained strong and continued to put everyone before her.
My nomination also includes my step dad Andy, who works for the fire service and has continued to work throughout the pandemic and stepped up massively when my mom suffered both her brain aneurysm and breast cancer.
If there are two people who deserve a beautiful weekend away doing something that they love it would be them.
I already own a camper van and it means they could join us on an adventure and create some more family memories
My cousin Karen has been caring for people with learning needs and physical disabilities throughout the whole pandemic. Having fallen prey to a scam and losing a substantial amount of money and having to give up her home Karen remained a dedicated carer throughout the years, and indeed through the pandemic. Karen unfortunately succumbed to COVID19 several times and has since been really struggling with long covid and the associated symptoms. I really think Karen would appreciate a free break to allow her to get away from the stresses of work, symptoms, and some respite from finances!
